Tim McGraw is probably doing some celebrating right about now. It was just announced that Tim McGraw has a new record label. After years of fighting rather publicly with his former label, Curb Records, Tim can breathe a sigh of relief that he’s got a new music home at Big Machine Records.
In an announcement at the Country Music Hall Of Fame, Tim McGraw and Big Machine Label Group President/CEO Scott Borchetta were on stage for the event.
Scott’s father Mike Borchetta was the one that actually signed Tim McGraw to Curb Records back in the 90’s. That deal came to an end back in November when a judge ruled that Tim was able to record for another label.
Now Tim McGraw is part of the Big Machine Label Group which is home to megastars Taylor Swift, Rascal Flatts, Reba, Martina McBride, The Band Perry among a slew of other fantastic artists.
